Why Applied Matters

When we developed the Applied Real Estate Institute, the word Applied was specifically used.

So much education available to real estate professionals is either taught or developed by someone who hasn’t done a deal in decades, or by someone who wasn’t successful in the business they are now teaching in. This realization was had by the founder, Will Curtis, CCIM, CPM when looking at learning more about land sales and wanted to understand the farm and ranch impact to the commercial development process. The instructor had amazing reviews, but quickly realize that the instructor likely couldn’t tell you why you leave fences they way you found them or what a cow actually is.

Our promise to students is that any course being developed is being developed by an experts in that field. The instructor is also a professional instructor who has had success in the field that they are teaching.
